12 19th Century English Hand Painted Botanical Plates

A wonderful set of 12 detailed and finely painted dessert plates; an excellent choice to be used as decoration on open shelving or in a cabinet. Each plate depicts a unique vibrantly painted botanical specimen which is titled on the reverse. The shaped rims, apple green hand painted borders with gold embellishment frame each painting. A lovely grouping in overall excellent condition.  8 3/4" diameter ca. 1850's
