Brown, Westhead & Moore 19th C. Aesthetic Movement soup tureen and under plate with Red Apple Blossom transfer decoration

This large, decorative oval soup tureen is decorated in the Aesthetic Movement style in red and cream with an apple blossom and fruit pattern, applied "twig" handles and matching under plate. The tureen measures 14" x 8" and 9" overall height, the platter is 14 1/2" x 11 1/8", ca. 1879
