This hand blown crystal ewer or pitcher is a fabulous example of Stevens and Williams extraordinary workmanship. The apple green overlay is cut to clear in a swirling Art Nouveau pattern and copper wheel engraved floral decoration. Clearly a presentation piece, it is inscribed "ACF to LWL" and dated 1898, this was an expensive gift even in it's time. The beautifully articulated sterling silver mount was made by Gorham who collaborated frequently with Stevens and Williams and Webb.
