An extraordinary example of Vienna's renowned porcelain work. This vase is expertly painted on the front with detailed depiction of a nude Psyche perched on a rock overlooking the water with full landscape background. The reverse side depicts a full painting of a nude Flora surrounded by winged puttis. The vase is artist signed Wagner and is further embellished with Neoclassical goat heads, finely embellished with raised gold. The vase is masterfully hand painted with detailed Romantic scenes of women and putti. Every aspect is embellished with polychrome enamels, blue lustre, soft peach and raised paste gold.
